Below are upcoming events and workshops to book. All materials are provided and, unless stated, all are open to complete beginners onwards.
DETAILS: A gentle, flexible summer class with lots of laughter and coffee (maybe even lunch!) In these relaxed summer sessions you get to bring along whatever you'd like help with and benefit from Jennie's expert tips and tricks as well as meeting liked minded people. A topic of the week will be set, but its up to you to follow it, think outside the box or go with your own thing. This is a lovely way of keeping that art habit going over summer and maybe giving Jennie's class a go without committing to a term. Open to all levels. Please feel free to stay for lunch at the Old Bull afterwards and make a day of it.
LOCATION: The Old Bull Inn - postcode SG8 9AW
TIME: Painting 10.30am to 12.00pm. Please arrive by 10.15am latest.
DATES: TUESDAY 22nd July, 29th July, 5th August, 19th August. You can book just one date or all.
COST: Bring your own materials. £15

Paints, Pencils and Practice - Watercolour and Pencil
Please make sure you have booked and paid in advance or you wont be able to join the class.
Food and drink are supplied at The Old Bull Inn Royston. Please dont bring your own apert from a water bottle.

An evening class where you can settle down with a glass of wine (should you want to) chat, draw and learn.

Drawing - Build Your Confidence
Please make sure you have booked and paid in advance or you wont be able to join the class.

DETAILS: A fun, exciting, festive workshop painting the Northern Lights and Snow Bears. I will take you step by step through the process of these fabulous skies and the snowy scenes beneath.
Included in the price is a warm drink or a glass of prosecco and a mince pie. You have the option to bring your own materials or I can supply everything you need. Go home with a couple of finished paintings and the skills to paint as many more as you would like!

Paint the Northern Lights - Watercolour and Pencil
Please make sure you have booked and paid in advance or you wont be able to join the class.
Please note: Food and drink are supplied by The Old Bull Inn Royston. You should contact them directly for any concerns or questions relating to this aspect of the workshop. At booking you can choose what drink you would like and if you require a Gluten Free alternative to the Mince Pie.

DETAILS: Using the technique of "negative painting" this 3 hour, step by step workshop is designed to help you create more depth and light in your paintings. Easy to follow if you haven't picked up a brush since school and a great technique for improving your watercolour paintings if you already paint. This workshop is limited to just 10 people so you will get plenty of attention and teaching time. Then refresh yourself after a wonderful morning of painting with a delicious Cream Tea (and maybe even a glass of Prosecco). Bring some friends and make a day of it!

Cream Tea and Paint - "Depth and Light in Watercolours"
DETAILS: Working with Acrylic Paint from dark to light to create your own stunning waterlily pond painting. This is a 3 hour, step by step workshop that is best suited to absolute beginners and rising beginners. Perfect for a bit of relaxing summer Sunday afternoon "me time". Or bring some friends, laugh, learn, be creative and enjoy an afternoon tea. This workshop is limited to just 12 people so you will get plenty of attention and teaching time.
